Events to Remember
With a wealth of experience as a performer and event leader, I can help you create an event that lifts people up.

I enjoy performing a wide range of music in venues across Yorkshire & the North East and beyond, from gardens to galleries, churches to opera houses. From The Bowes Museum (above) to Darlington Railway station in the middle of the night to celebrate 200 years of trains (below).
I also enjoy working on recording projects. I have featured on recordings for other artists, and am currently in discussions to be the voice of a large scale art installation.

The best way to keep up to date with upcoming events is on my Facebook page, or by joining my email list here. I hope to see you at an event soon.
If you'd like to chat with me about music for your special event or project, please get in touch- talking about music is one of my favourite things to do!
Weddings
The music at your special event will stay with you, and your guests, forever.
"Thank you so much for singing at our wedding Rosie. It really made our day, and so many of our guests made a point of telling me how much they enjoyed it too" Liz
I sing a wide range of wonderful music to suit your style, including:
* Beautiful classical music, from opera arias to timeless musicals
* Wedding ceremony music in a range of styles, either as a soloist (with high quality backing tracks) or with an organist or pianist
I have recently sung someone down the aisle to Elvis, another bride walked in to Annie's Song by John Denver. I often sing a blessing or hymn whilst the register is being signed, for example The Lord Bless You and Keep You by John Rutter.
Your musical choices are up to you, and I can give you guidance as you wish. I can work with your church organist or pianist, or connect you with one of my musical friends or one of my advanced students, who are also available to hire as as solo pianists.

Singing at a wedding at Easby Abbey in Richmond, North Yorkshire, with my friend, teacher and organ superstar Dr Robin Harrison
For couples who want to create something unique and timeless, I can also write some original music for your special day, as I'm also a freelance composer.
If you'd like to talk about music for your special day, please get in touch.
Saying Goodbye
Singing at funerals and memorial services is a great honour.
I share music to help to bring you peace, and to remember your loved one with joy.

A beautiful memorial service I sang as part of at St Michael and All Angels Church in Middleton Tyas, North Yorkshire
"I just wanted to say a very big thank you from all of us for singing today. You have the most wonderful, angelic voice. It was lovely to be able to sit back and listen, each person carried away in their own feelings and thoughts about my father." Nichola
I sing music in a range of styles, according to you and your loved one's tastes. I love to perform beautiful, restful music, and have enjoyed singing the music below at special memorials:
Ave Maria (Schubert)
Pie Jesu (Faure)
The Lord Bless you and Keep You (Rutter)
O for the Wings of a Dove (Mendelssohn)
When I am laid in Earth (Purcell)
Domine Deus (Vivaldi)
Ridente la Calma (Mozart)
I Watch the Sunrise (traditional hymn)
O Danny Boy (traditional Irish)
"Thank you so much. We will never forget the beautiful service that you contributed to with your wonderful voice. We know Mum would have loved it." Catherine
You can read more about some memorial services I have been part of on my blog.
"I just wanted to thank you for your part in making Mum's funeral a beautiful celebration of her life. Your singing was amazing , we were so happy you could be there." Jane
If you'd like to talk to me about singing at a special service for your loved one, or you'd like me to write some music in their memory, please get in touch and I'll be pleased to help you.
Opera and Choral
I love singing opera, and I was proud to be part of Song of Our Heartland, with Opera North & Northern Heartlands
It's a beautiful score by Will Todd, celebrating the people of the North East. We made a socially distanced film of it- click here to watch it.
I was very proud to conduct the Opera North Community Chorus with music from the opera at our celebratory event at Locomotion Museum

I'm an experienced choral singer and enjoy performing as a soloist- from gospel to Mozart.
One of my favourite engagements was as the soprano soloist in Vivaldi's Gloria and Mark Harrison's powerful Jubile Natale with Richmondshire Choral Society. It was a treat to sing such beautiful music, and to be invited by the composer himself (and by that I mean Mark, not Vivaldi!)
If your choir would like to sing with me, or if you would like to talk to me about a solo recital or concert, please contact me and I'll be very pleased to meet you.
